The sweet smell of a ripe mango

Off late I was searching for ripe mangoes in many places and my criteria for selection was the sweet smell that a ripe mango has...hmmm...

I went to many stores - Reliance fresh, Heritage fresh@, ITC Chowpal fresh, Spencer’s, SPAR etc… but could not find one, all that they had to offer were neatly packed, rich in color, bar-coded, labeled [Mallika is one of the brand] mangoes which would have all the physical properties of a mango barring the sweet smell that I was looking for.

I was feeling bad and dejected for not finding the sweet smelling mangoes and was walking back from a temple when I saw a woman selling mangoes in a small basket along the roadside and as I was nearing her, I could sense the sweet smell... the sweet smell of mangoes. Eureka! This smell transported me back to school days when I used to savor the same sweet smell with the report card (Eureka!) after the annual exams!

I was looking for my mangoes in air conditioned corporate stores while I found them while walking along the roadside.

Wah Rakesh, I could understand the philosophy in this small incident. If we ellobarate each and every keyword you used, it gives lot of deep meaning.

By the way, I am feeling lucky to write first comment on your post. :-)
